After fantastic test results of two independent magazines for the Vanguard rods, and 1st price winning D-Fender rods in Croatia – we have achieved an historic testing result for our amazing MAD® New Dimension™ rod. Germany’s No 1. Carp Angling Magazine has rewarded this rod with 1,2 points, which means “Excellent” product.

In short the testing report (which you can find attached in German) says the following:

As a life-long angler, the author is happy with the extremely positive direction in which DAM is developing the last couple of years. And regarding carp angling products, the market is positively surprised about all the high quality and innovative products that have been introduced under the sub brand MAD®. Up front he is very curious towards the New Dimension™ rod, moreover while it is seldom that DAM reaches the RRP of around 400 Euros!

Design and concept:
The design is so “crazy” that one cannot get his or her eyes of it. The super slim blank and its machine cut reel seat are not only a treat for the eye, but also fantastic in handling. This rod is a super strong distance rod, which is ideal for fighting giant fish!

Finish and artwork:
The finishing is perfect and the varnish has been applied with great care and very neatly. Also under extreme contra weight, the rod doesn’t make any sound when it is bent heavily. The author personally misses the line clip. The artwork is very sober and decent – which fits perfectly to a high tech rod in this price range.

Praxis:

Not only will the New Dimension™ rod throw angler from their feet that are used to fishing with medium priced rods, but also the specialists that fish with high class, hand built rods!

The MAD® New Dimension™ rod is a great achievement of both the developers and the builders, and is a Monster which is the greatest surprise of the year!
